In this digital age, expressing yourself is such a big deal. We are so used to expressing what we think and believe in through paper and a pen, your #ootd, a theatrical performance or by singing along (with matching tears) to Adele’s albums. For a faster and more efficient way to express yourself (especially for those who are addicted to social media) in this digital era, we are blessed with the joyful things called Emojis. And Krispy Kreme, no matter how much of a heritage brand it is, knows how to roll with the times.
If you’re like me, donuts are my to-go-to breakfast options and pick-me-ups for a bad day. They always make me happy with that certain melt-in-your-mouth sensation that only an Original Glazed can give you. And to make me happier, they’ve made Emojis a part of this goodness! You can now add different emojis on your donut to make you (and your Instagram) happier! And if you’re like me and Emoji is your third language next to English and Tagalog, this. Makes. Me. So. 🙂 .
Launching this year-long campaign is their Emoji Park in BGC last February 20! And nothing but pure happy activities were held inside the park! They had face-painting and a short-film viewing of “Sweet Somethings” by Venice Film Festival awardee, Pepe Diokno. AND, a very interactive wall where you catch falling donuts (virtual donuts, that is). You can see it in my Youtube Channel! 😀
But the thing I loved the most was getting my nails done with KKemojis!!!
Be ready, Manila! Krispy Kreme has so much more in store for you this 2016! I heard there are different limited edition emojis to match each season! I. DONUT. WANT. TO WAIT. for thissssssss!!! They’re perfect as gifts for your loved ones because you can send a message through the donut! I can’t wait to #ShareTheKK with you guys!
P.S. Special shout-out to James Dinglasan for the invite and for the Geiser Maclang team for making such a fun event!
