SM Megamall Fashion Hall is quickly becoming the hotspot for good grub in Ortigas. You have brands from da.u.deh to Chez Karine making the new SM Megamall wing as their home. On top of the 5th floor is a quirky little cafe called Lucca. Its a great place where you can sit down, eat, and chat with friends
They have a variety of choices, from pastas to pastries to mocktails (yup, inside a mall). We tried the pastas and the sandwiches. At it’s very essence, it is a comfort place. The food is all about simple comfort food and not about extravagant or thundering taste. Simple, homey, and not pretentious- a rare find with the sparkling roster of restos inside the Fashion Hall, from Frankies to Tim Ho Wan (Tim Ho Wan is a Michelin-Star restaurant and Frankie’s is Frankie’s).
The interiors are delightful. It is very homey and warm, there is a very titas of Manila feel to the place (but not that super-old-titas feel compared to Mary Grace).
Prices are the usual “meet-up with your friends rate”. Pasta servings are good for one and leaves you enough space for dessert, which I think is their main strength in the menu. I highly recommend the Nutella Snail but eat it with your hands, not with cutlery-it is delish!
